Patricia King and the Mystic Anointing

Jesus warned that in the last days that there would be false prophets.  Matthew 24:4-5 “And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you, “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.”   Matthew 24:11 “Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.”

Matthew 24:24 “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.  Behold, I have told you in advance.

At 5:45 into the video, King talks about getting a booklet from her ministry that teaches “how to move in the Mystical element” (The Seer Anointing). King then continues to support this by referring to “history” and says that those who had supernatural encounters were referred to as ‘Witches’,… called Mystics, and the institutional church didn’t understand  them and they were burned at the stake.

 This next video is of the Bethel Church in Redding, California. Bill Johnson is the Pastor. This is what they call a “Fire Tunnel”. In this tunnel, people are supposedly getting drunk in the spirit and getting healed. This is not only un-Biblical, it’s demonic and no Christian should be anywhere near this.

The Bible makes it clear that we are to test all things – 1 Thess 5:21,22. We must be discerning and test the teachings and practices with the Word of God and if they do not align with Scripture we know that it is a false teaching, a counterfeit, and is not from God.  Sadly some Christians feel they are beyond the reach of deception and say they can’t be deceived because they have the Holy Spirit.  But remember Jesus’ words from Matthew 24:4,5, Jesus said “See to it that no one misleads you.”  That means you must be SOBER, WATCHFUL, and ALERT.  If Jesus said to “See to it that no one misleads you”, then why do many Christians think they can’t be deceived or mislead by false teachings and false teachers!  The warnings and instructions are clear in the Bible,  we only need to heed those warnings and obey.

Deuteronomy 13:1-4 “If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes true concerning which he spoke to you, saying ‘Let us go after other gods [whom you have not known] and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams; for the LORD your God is testing you to find out if you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.  You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.

2 Peter 1-2 “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.  Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;
