Matthew 13:24-36

Jesus presented another parable to them, saying “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.  “But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.  “But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. “

1. True worshippers worship in SPIRIT and TRUTH
not just feelings, not just Scripture But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)

2. You can tell them by their love/countanence
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:2-3)

3. By their fruit. What kind of works/deeds is thier life characterized by?
Matt 7 and Luke 6:44
For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. (Luke 6:44)

4. From what their mouth speaks you can tell their heart
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. (Luke 6:45)

5. They do what God says
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

(Luke 6:46)
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:22-23)

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. (1 John 2:6) OUGHT means MORALLY BOUND In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth
not his brother. (1 John 3:10)
